Manager of Engineering

Your tasks
- Motivate and lead direct reports, communicate targets, goals and expectations to meet site strategy and budget (25% of time spent)
- Provide technical recommendations and support, both to internal and external customers (15% of time spent)
- Investigate problems and lead in facilitating recommendations for improvements to ensure highest level of all quality throughout product offering and services provided (20% of time of spent)
- Evaluate workloads within department to ensure appropriate facilitation of job tasks and work load in order to optimize departmental efficiency (20% of time spent)
- Develop and coaches team, to develop expertise, knowledge and enhance skill set (20% of time spent)
- Manage shop jobs with an emphasis on customer service, inside sales, and revenue generation.
Your profile
- A combination of at least 5 years of related experience in the following industries: Paper & Pulp, Engineering, Service, and/or Machine Shop.
- Proven leader with previous experience of managing others
