TITLE:                   Product Data Specialist - Retail

LOCATION:         Snowbird Resort

STATUS:              Full-Time, Regular, Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE:         Varies

Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays. 

SUMMARY

The Product Data Specialist - Retail is an entry-level business role focused on centralizing and maintaining accurate product data across all retail categories. This person will be responsible for both cleaning legacy data and creating new entries to support purchasing, inventory, and ecommerce. Additionally, they will support the online customer experience through site merchandising tasks, including image management, AI-generated product copy, and digital categorization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Revise, organize, and standardize legacy product data across all categories.
  • Create accurate and consistent new product records for Retail, Rental, and eCommerce.
  • Support occasional purchase order (PO) creation and documentation tasks.
  • Leverage modern technology and tools such as MS CoPilot, etc
  • Maintain and organize the product image library for ecommerce and internal use.
  • Manage the online merchandising experience, including product categories, dropdown filters, list ranking, and image order.
  • Collaborate with the Buyer and cross-functional teams to improve product launch workflows.
  • Assist with identifying and resolving product data issues in YellowDog and Square systems.
  • Constantly drive division towards excellence in customer service.
  • Carry out all activities consistent with corporate values: safety, employees, results, vision, integrity, customers, and the environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel: Occasional business trips within/outside Utah.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in a related field.Additional related work experience may be substituted.
  • 3-5 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Solid to strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Office suite.
  • Experience using modern technologies such as MS CoPilot is a plus.
  • Must possess a natural intuitiveness to working with end user computer applications. Experience working with Yellow Dog and Square applications is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, lead, and control, resulting in successful outcomes, on time and on budget, without regular supervision and guidance.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions.
  • Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

 

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
  • May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
  • General office environment with limited physical activity.
  • Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.General office conditions prevail.Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent noise exposure.
