The Billing Auditor - Quality Assurance reviews, audits, and validates the accuracy and completeness of billing and coding practices to ensure compliance with internal policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards. The role serves as a critical function in identifying errors, recommending corrective actions, and supports billing integrity across the service lines.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Health Information Management, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university required.
- 3 years of DME billing, coding, medical documentation review, claims auditing, or revenue cycle auditing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Must have knowledge of Medicaid, Commercial, and DMEPOS guidelines.
OR
- 4 years of DME billing, coding, medical documentation review, claims auditing, or revenue cycle auditing experience in a healthcare setting may be substituted for the required education.
