What You Will Do:
We have an opportunity for a Powerhouse Planner / Scheduler to be based in Columbus, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates the schedule of preventive maintenance, repair calls, and projects for equipment, machinery, or buildings.
- Maintain our SAP system to ensure all machine and facility PMs are updated and completed on time.
- Reviews manufacturers service manuals, facility usage schedules plus records of maintenance problems to define optimum frequency of preventive maintenance.
- Direct and coordinate activities of maintenance work orders.
- Maintaining maintenance and equipment records and generating reports such as open work orders, past due work orders, completed work orders, equipment historical cost analysis, etc.
- Maintain Compliance Inventories for facilities responsibilities.
- Coordinates with purchasing and vendors to ensure parts availability.
- Develops daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules.
- The planner / schedule is responsible for maintaining the facilities crib. Helps to identify critical spare parts outages.
- May be required to obtain and maintain training, operator permits and certifications within assigned area.
- Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment.
- May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 2 Years of relevant work experience
- Experience managing parts, PMs, and inventory in a fast-paced facility environment.
- Knowledge of plant operations and equipment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. independently.
- Must have personal computer skills.
- Possesses strong communication skills.
- US Citizenship required due to government contract.
Qualifications We Value:
- Has utilized a computer maintenance management system consisting of work orders, preventative maintenance, equipment records, purchasing, parts and materials specification, and spares; SAP experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine and process drawings, sketch or redline existing drawings.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
