Mercy Hospital’s 2M Med/Surg & Telemetry Unit provides care to diverse populations of surgical and medical/telemetry patients. Surgical patients in this unit have typically undergone abdominal surgery or hysterectomy and have drains or need wound care. There are also many cardiac and stroke patients on this high-acuity floor. 2M is an inclusive unit that fosters respect, collaboration and support among all caregivers and prioritizes open communication to ensure that everyone feels heard and valued. Your goal as an RN on the team will be advancing recovery to discharge as quickly as possible, ensuring safety for our patients. 2M also encourages RNs to obtain med/surg certification and promotes growth into leadership opportunities.

A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM – 7:30PM, including every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.
