This is a remote position.
Schedule:- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 7AM - 4PM Chicago, IL time
- Includes 1-hour unpaid break
We are looking for a technical individual to support sales (all group AEM companies). This position requires a results-oriented, technically competet individual with a technical backgroung (Engineer may be a possibility) combined with experience and/or ability to quickly master concepts and efficiently deliver results.
Responsibilities:
Develop project scope of work documents for projects in bidding
Cost analysis of materials and labor estimates in an organized manner
Projects may be machinery and components (Chicago Metalcraft) or Construction related (Vault Design)
Outreach to known vendors for component and material costing
Team communication for determining project time
develop standardized costing and pricing tools in bidding
Construction support and quality monitoring
Requirements
High level of competency in a related technical field (Architecture or Engineering)
Technical competence to understand project drawings and specifications
Ability to collaborate with design and sales to breakdown project tasks and estimated expenses
Excellent written English language skill
High level user skills in MS word and Excel
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu
