About the role
Job Summary
Responsibility for project management and continuous improvement in support of the Giant Eagle Strategic plan and other key business development initiatives. Key functions include: Facilitation, plan development, implementation & execution, scorecards, measurement, etc. of strategic initiatives and problem-solving activities across the Enterprise. This role will interact predominantly at the Director and VP levels of the organization with report outs and follow up sessions with BU Heads and Senior leadership.Job Description
- Experience Required: 5 to 10 years Program Management experience in an Enterprise Strategy role
- Education Desired: Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field
- Experience Required: leadership, negotiation and change management skills

Job Responsibilities

- h objectives to drive growth, reduce costs through continuous improvement efforts and project planning & management.
- This role will have primary interaction at the Director & VP level while providing plan insights and report outs at the Senior leader level. Provide support to project plan scope, development, start up, milestone reviews, resourcing, and measurement for corporate initiatives for which you are assigned.
- Maintain a continuous, thorough content knowledge and status of all assigned initiatives.
- Develop and manage initiative plans against the key performance indicators.
- Aid Senior Leaders and Initiative Leaders with updates and decision forums.
- Partner with Initiative Leaders to develop next generation initiative phases and continuous improvement, transition and exit plans.
- Organizational agility - Develop and maintain relationships to ensure initiative strategies are communicated effectively (status and grading) to all necessary parties.
- Develop and provide initiative issue resolution inclusive of roadblock removal and escalate as necessary.
- Lead and facilitate problem solving and continuous improvement and ideation workshops across the Business Units and functional support areas.
- Utilize project management approach to formulate sprint teams and drive the planning process for team execution.
- Provide evaluative insights on initiative status and impacts to the Strategy SVP.
