Starting pay is $19.52/hour (This rate is non-negotiable and there is a 6-month probationary period). In this position you have the potential of making up to $32.16/hour.

Role Summary

The Property Management Assistant is responsible for providing support to the tenants, property managers, contractors, and the internal team. They maintain paperwork, filing, and scheduling onsite maintenance issues.

This position is onsite and will travel between the 19 sites in Ann Arbor up to five days a week.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for coordinating efforts for 564 units in Ann Arbor and working with a diverse population.
  • Responsible for writing maintenance notices, notifying tenants and going to the units to let the contractors in.
  • Responsible for mailing, hand delivering, and process rent statements.
  • Performing administrative responsibilities such as outlook appointments, filing, creating reports using Excel and Yardi, completing leasing documents with tenants.

Training and Experience Required:

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years of office experience/customer service or related field
  • Administrative Assistant Union Progression
