Job Description

This role is based in our Boston, MA office.

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing enterprise web applications. This role will provide new technical challenges and innovate our products, technology stack & development processes. You will work in a Lean/Agile team and be focused on delivering value and delighting customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work closely with Software Developers  / QA Engineers and the business to build outstanding products
• Design and develop scalable, robust, secure, enterprise web applications
• Provide technical leadership in getting new ideas into production efficiently
• Enhance tools and processes to improve product design/development
• Develop a deep understanding of product functionality and how it relates to business goals and practices

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 15+ years industry experience
• Full stack experience in developing N-tier Java web applications
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Junit/TestNG, Spring, Hibernate
• Good knowledge of JavaScript /AngularJS
• Good knowledge of SQL / Relational Databases
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience working in a Lean/Agile environment
• Experience with inter-enterprise software integrations, associated tools and techniques.
• Experience with technical leadership and mentoring of junior developers.
• Demonstrable experience with an AI tooling strategy, beyond code assist / code completion.
