DRC- Kitchen Aide

The Kitchen Aide supports essential program operations, including food service and related activities. Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, service, and cleanup while ensuring compliance with sanitation and health regulations. The Kitchen Aide completes assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and routines. This role requires the ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain flexibility to cover shifts that may include weekends and holidays.

 

Duties:

• Assists Cooks, Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor in all areas of kitchen responsibilities, including helping with the preparation of meals.
• Washes and cleans all kitchen equipment, utensils, appliances, floors, and surfaces per schedule posted daily.
• Daily upkeep of kitchen and dining areas, maintains good health and sanitation standards.
• Replenishes kitchen and dining room supplies daily; check inventory, report needed goods to Operations office.
• Prepares meals for clients whenever Cook is unavailable.
• Assists in luncheon services; other meals when necessary.
• Accepts, checks, and signs for all products, purchases, and food service equipment.
• Removes all rubbish, trash, and garbage from premises

Qualifications:

Highschool Diploma or G.E.D

One (1) year general kitchen experience.
