Backed by top-tier VCs, this is a ground-floor opportunity for a high-impact engineer to join as a founding member and lead the technical architecture from inception to launch, with a clear path to engineering leadership.

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with 4-10 years of experience to lead the design and launch of our AI-first product. You will work directly with the co-founders, owning major technical decisions and shaping the engineering culture. This role requires speed, autonomy, and a commitment to driving measurable, meaningful impact in a challenging healthcare domain.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Build V1 Clinical Operations Layer: Design and ship core full-stack systems—from the first line of code to production-ready tools—across our patient experience, clinician workflows, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) integrations.
• Lead AI Innovation: Build and scale AI-native features that power the platform, including:
• Speech-to-text triage and intelligent intake.
• Care navigation copilots and auto-summarized progress notes.
• Real-time voice agents that interact with users.
• Set the Technical Bar and Grow the Team: Own architecture and make major technical decisions. Actively code, review, and ship, while also mentoring and inspiring future teammates to build a culture of speed and excellence.
• Move at the Speed of Light: Collaborate directly with clinicians, designers, and founders to ship, iterate, and improve features in real-time, free from bureaucratic drag.

Requirements

• Experience: 4 - 10 years of experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency across the full stack, with hands-on experience in our core stack: Next.js, Flask, and Node.js.
• AI/Product Focus: Direct experience or high aptitude for building and architecting AI-native products and integrating AI/ML infrastructure (speech-to-text, summarization, voice agents).
• Ownership Mentality: Eagerness to own major technical decisions, architecture, and end-to-end product delivery in a zero-to-one capacity.
• Impact Driven: Passion for using code to solve real-world problems and drive measurable impact in the healthcare/mental health space.
• Work Style: Thrives in a highly autonomous, collaborative, and fast-moving hybrid work setting (3+ days per week on-site in NYC).
