As a Project Management Associate, you will work closely with the GPI Sales Team to execute our vision of World Class Service. You will play a crucial role in our sales department by managing the behind the scenes needs for onboarding new business, preparing and participating in bid activities, and keeping project needs on time to meet deadlines. You will be in a partnership with the sales and customer service groups to assist and enable growth. Reports to Regional Sales Director.
Position Responsibilities: included but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and manage New Business Onboarding (NBO) activity.
- Support sales team by helping to develop and deploy a culture of service.
- Help develop and deploy Customer VMI programs.
- Assist in managing aged AR and aged finished goods.
- Track and follow monthly customer forecasts to assist in the outlooking process.
- Enter and track SAP requests for structural designs and artwork needs.
- Work with the accounting group to add new customers to our systems.
- Track and maintain Salesforce activity.
- Develop and provide monthly reporting to facilitate and engage customer needs.
- Assist sales group in producing relevant presentations for meetings.
- In-person visits with key accounts to drive partnerships and relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly responsive with a persistent, proactive, and results-oriented demeanor.
- High proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint – will be the SME to the sales team.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments across multiple company locations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Required Experience:
- Proven success in managing complicated customer relationships alongside sales professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of the packaging and Consumer Products industries is a plus.
- Required Travel ~ 20%
Pay Range: $57,750.00
