About the opportunity

As the Program Manager, you will support the scaling of the organization through the project and program management of strategic initiatives. You will provide oversight of the fulfillment of projects that support organizational goals. You will:

  • Be responsible for providing strong project and program management and critical thinking skills to define, plan, execute, and close business-critical projects by leading cross-functional teams of internal and external members and communicating effectively with senior management and executives.
  • Encourage momentum and motivate progress, ensuring activities are moving forward timely
  • Address complex operational opportunities and issues cross-functionally to position the business for rapid scale
  • Provide program oversight of projects that aim to fulfill organization goals related to process development and optimization, product deployment and improvement, and system selection and deployment. 
  • Monitor the status of projects within the Special Projects program, as well as communicate risks, scope, and updates to senior leadership and executives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Meet with external and internal Ting stakeholders to obtain and share key milestones of market engagement and planning, as well as proactive roadmap scheduling
  • Expand existing metrics and dashboards to track the success of the Special Projects Program 
  • Lead stakeholder communication and facilitate critical business and operational discussions with the focus of driving informed members to actionable decisions. 
  • Build relationships with external vendors as needed to fulfill deliverables and requirements of projects.
  • US travel up to 20%
  • All other duties assigned by the manager

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven ability to work in a diverse and remote environment and embrace inclusive leadership
  • PMP/PMI certification is strongly preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan; having or showing great perception or insight.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, and help others prioritize
  • Strong organization skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Service Provider FTTH service practices
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 10+ years of program or project management experience which includes experience managing projects of waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of the organization (senior executives, managers and SMEs)
  • Proven ability to create critical processes and critical metrics
  • Keen understanding of risk management methodologies
  • Strong project scheduling and forecasting abilities 
  • Experience leading a team of project managers 
  • Demonstrate ability to be a positive change and compassionate agent for the operation
  • Track record of a growth mindset and creative problem-solving

  • Salary starting from 100k - 125K
