For more information, visit publicissapient.com</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Manager Experience Engineering - Accessibility Expert to join our accessibility consulting practice and Experience Engineering team. At Publicis Sapient, we believe that making digital experiences accessible improves the experiences for everyone, and that it is our responsibility to ensure that the products, services, and solutions we create for our clients and in turn their customers and employees are accessible for everyone, no matter how they navigate. </p><p>As part of our Accessibility Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for guiding cross-capability teams in the ongoing creation and maintenance of accessible digital experiences for Publicis Sapient clients. This involves providing expert advice and consultancy to our clients, helping them understand the importance of accessibility and how to implement it effectively within their organization's digital projects.</p><ul><li>Supports teams in the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of digital accessibility across digital experiences. </li><li>Leads accessibility evaluations of existing digital experiences.  </li><li>Guides teams in the ongoing creation of accessible digital content, participating in design reviews, drafting accessibility requirements for new features, and generally helping cross-capability team members to design, develop, and author content that meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. </li><li>Helps ensure team members are following processes that will enable the creation of accessible digital experiences including accessibility reviews at every project phase, directing the team to use existing job aids and checklists, and running existing training sessions with groups as needed. </li><li>Coach and guide designers and engineers on advanced digital accessibility principles. </li><li>Be recognized as an accessibility technical subject matter expert for user interface experiences, monitoring industry trends to identify best practices and extend as needed. </li><li>Mentor and collaborate with other accessibility, design and usability specialists. </li><li>Consult with clients to help them understand the importance of digital accessibility and guide them on best practices for implementation within their organization. </li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and tailoring accessibility approaches accordingly. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Deep knowledge of accessibility standards, trends, best practices, and requirements. </li><li>Intermediate to expert knowledge of and experience using various assistive technologies. Reliance on assistive technologies for daily work is an asset. </li><li>Accessibility certification is a bonus: IAAP CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or the DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester designation. There is an expectation to achieve this within the year. </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, computer science, computer engineering, human factors or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. </li><li>3+  years practical web accessibility experience. </li><li>5+ years of experience in a front end or full stack development role. </li><li>A passion for and deep understanding of inclusive design. </li><li>Proven ability to provide accessibility solutions for designers, developers, and testers. </li><li>Expert communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into relatable scenarios and influence design outcomes. </li><li>Intermediate or higher programming skills, with the ability to explain desired technology outcomes to development teams.  </li><li>High Level of awareness of disability related issues with respect to digital accessibility.  </li><li>Self-driven, with ability to take ownership and accountability; must be adept at working in a self-guided manner to drive inclusive design principles. </li><li><strong>Both: strong German and English skills (Level C) are required for this position</strong></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>As part of our dedication to an inclusive and diverse workforce, P
