Your Role at Baxter

Working with the Service Program Management organization and colleagues you will implement engineering solutions for Design for Service on new product development for our Front Line Care Products.
What you'll be doing:
Working with cross functional teams from R&D Engineering, Connectivity/SW Engineering, Service, Marketing, Quality, Sustaining Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering, you will facilitate service solutions on new product development and business critical product sustaining engineering projects. You will provide sustainable service strategies, processes, materials, instructions, training, and equipment supporting products and services by:
Defining the technical customer’s user needs during early phases of new product development to ensure our products have been designed for serviceability.
Facilitate integration of new released products, across all Baxter divisions, to our service software platforms
Facilitate strategy for the Service Organization, during the early phases of new product development, on where products will be serviced, how the customer escalations across Baxter business units will be handled, what testing will be required after service and repair, and creation of the initial service manual and repair bill of material.
Define and implement service software and network support strategies to deliver installation, setup, administration, disassembly / reassembly methods, training, escalation support and use process documentation for new products including network-based and OEM devices and systems.
Defining service method requirements to develop, release and maintain service software, service tooling, test equipment, test software, service processes, and service materials including installation instructions, service parts, service repair kits and assemblies.
Daily activities will focus on the collaboration of ensuring our new products are designed for service and provide product escalations and service business support to ensure global service readiness and delivery of world class service solutions.
What you'll bring:
Bachelors in engineering, science, or related and 3 + years related experience.
Systems engineering experience in translating needs to design requirements and V&V.
Ability to lead cross functional efforts to validate for services processes.
Understanding of service customer needs and apply them to new product designs.
Define and implement service software and network support strategies.
Strong communication skills.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 to $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
