Job Summary

The Clinical Research Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing stakeholder and patient engagement activities within a large-scale, multi-stakeholder research initiative, the PCORI-funded iCARE project focused on improving outcomes for adults with asthma. This position collaborates closely with the Director of Engagement, Project Director, and cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of patient and stakeholder perspectives throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include supervising patient stakeholder engagement, serving as a liaison to both English and Spanish-speaking patients and multiple stakeholder groups, and coordinating the development of study-related educational materials. The Project Manager is accountable for organizing and leading monthly engagement activities, scheduling meetings, and systematically obtaining feedback from stakeholders and patients to inform all aspects of the study. Additionally, the role involves managing meeting agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring that all partners’ voices are heard and reflected in project milestones and deliverables. The Project Manager will also contribute to the design and implementation of study interventions and educational resources, supporting the project’s overall goal of advancing patient-centered outcomes.


 

Qualifications

Education:
Masters in Public Health or in another Social Science discipline is desired OR a Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of five (5) years work experience in healthcare clinical research operations

Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

- Experience in community health education, health promotion, and collaborating and implementing health-related community-based interventionsAbility to make independent effective decisions.
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations desirable

- Experience with health-related, government-funded programs a plus

- Strong organizational and communication Skills.
- Knowledge of program management (focused on program outcomes), timelines and facilitating meetings

Strong database management and computer skills.

  • A proven ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds including program patients, community and civic organizations, and public health professionals
  • Must be flexible and able to manage a multi-faceted program with a self-directed work style, balanced with the ability to work collaboratively
