(Senior) Account Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our EMEA Sales team within the segment Danfoss Power Solutions.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for OEM accounts in the Benelux region. You do not have to be located close to one of our offices, you will be working out of home office. However, we would like to see that you are based in the Benelux region, since you will be primarily managing Benelux accounts and customers.  

Job Responsibilities

 As our new Senior Account Manager, you will be managing specified direct OEM accounts in the Benelux region. You will join our international Sales team located at different countries across Europe. Tasks and responsibilities you can expect:

 

• Manage and develop direct OEM’s business at specified accounts;
• Develop customer relationships and act as primary field sales representative for Danfoss Power Solutions, servicing specific accounts;
• Have a good understanding of the customer's structure, products and decision-making processes;
• Ensure that Danfoss provides the Unique Customer Experience by orchestrating all Danfoss relations and contracts to the customer;
• Make full use of your level of competence to comprehend and discuss technical and commercial aspects of the products and solutions;
• If required by sales management, take a leading and coordinating role at an international level towards our specified OEM customers.

To be successful in this position, we would like to see that you have a degree (Bachelor/University) in mechanical, electrical engineering and preferably 5 years or more of work experience in the hydraulic, mechanical industry or electronics market. Additionally, we are looking for:

 

• Experience as a successful Account Manager and or Sales Development experience in a technical production environment;
• Excellent communication and network skills;
• Able and willing to do business travel;
• Abel to work with digital tools and applications like Salesforce, Microsoft Office, etc;
• Have fluent (in word and writing) language skills for the Dutch and English language.
