Part-time Lab Assistant - Health Sciences

Assist the School of Health Sciences Lab courses with a focus on Surgical Technology and Therapeutic Massage.
Surgical Technology: Maintain safe, orderly lab and environment; assist students lab activities; set up for competency testing. Maintain, stock and order inventory/supplies when necessary. Create documents to support inventory.
Therapeutic Massage: Washing, drying, and folding a large volume of bedding for our on-campus massage clinic. Transporting 50-gallon bags (via cart) from Griffin Hall to Ivy Hall, and back. Lab organizational tasks and some light cleaning of Therapeutic Massage Laboratory.
Document activities and solutions to issues via email, written reports, etc.
Assist other programs or Dean of Health Sciences as needed for set up lab sessions or competency testing.
Flexible work hours 15-20 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successfully completed one full-time semester as a program-ready student in a Health Sciences Program.
Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot issues.
Must be able to learn new equipment independently as needed using manuals, online resources, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with surgical technology instrument sets.
