Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Custodian/Janitor to support our business in the Chantilly, VA. area. 

The candidate will work with another custodian performing janitorial task for our customer's commercial facility, but must be able to complete tasks with no supervision. Candidate will also report daily to a team lead.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage all assigned activities as they pertain to the cleanliness of a customer facility

• Daily cleaning of café, restrooms and office spaces

• Daily empties trash and moves it to the on-site dumpster. Daily vacuums floors and carpets

• Daily damp mops/cleans VCT and other hard surface flooring

• Spot cleans carpets and floors. Periodic waxing/deep cleaning floors as necessary

• Cleans up spills as needed

• Cleans/dusts blinds, windows, baseboards and interior glass windows

• Phased cleaning approach to customer zones as required

• Responsible for routinely checking the exterior grounds and ensuring all trash and debris is collected and disposed of

• Assist other facility personnel with setting up and taking down of tables and chairs to support customer events

• May also be required at times to assist facility personnel with minor construction and O&M tasks

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Chantilly, VA.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  A final Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Fullscope Polygraph pre-start is required.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

- 3+ years custodian/janitorial experience

- Capable of lifting 35lbs on a frequent basis

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift. Potential work schedule Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm.

Summary pay range: $48,000 - $58,000
