Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide guidance to the team in analyzing customer requests and determining solutions to solve business needs, lead the creation and implementation of applications and BI tools to explore and understand data, and collaborate with the team to produce insights and solutions.

The Shared Services Operations - Business Intelligence - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Lead a team in the identification and analysis of customer needs, and strive to do what's right for our customers.
- Lead team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) applications and tools.
- Guide team in the creation and implementation of automated business processes and mechanisms to generate meaningful reports to help us deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose.
- Analyze data to drive business decision-making capabilities.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, including developing requirements for new features and enhancements.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5 years of experience with AWS and cloud technology
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with SQL
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python
- 10 years of advanced experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
- 10 years of customer support and production support experience in mortgage operations
- 8 years of technical leadership experience
- Experience with Data Science tools
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Outstanding problem solving and analytic skills
- Microsoft Office tools
- Strong reporting skills
- Previous experience with relationship management

- Master's degree or equivalent
- Starburst, Cloud mesh experience
Skills
Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
The group of skills related to Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
Skilled in creating and managing databases with the use of relevant software such as MySQL, Hadoop, or MongoDB
Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
The group of skills related to Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS
Expertise in using statistical methods, including: developing and testing hypotheses, using experimental design, and running linear and logistic regressions
Ability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-enabled automation
Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
