Logistics Operations Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reports directly to the Sr. Logistics Operations Manager or Logistics Director, and under that direction, provides Administrative and Operations support to Program Management Leadership. Responsible for ensuring all administrative deliveries of internal and external information, performance and communications are complete and submitted on time. Schedules and leads work efforts for all Program Management to the employees, the customers and client.

• Directly responsible for the oversight of the Procurement and Logistics team and the execution of all procurement and logistics processes, to include full range of supply management functions such as procurements of goods, supplies and services; warehousing and inventory management; transportation and freight forwarding.
• Develops, implements, and enforces the compliance of procurement and logistics policies, builds supplier rapport, negotiates with strategic suppliers, and coordinates activities to meet the needs and productivity of an operation. 
• Developing logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies, ensure quality and cost control. Conducting distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and warehouse operation, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
• Ensure efficient and effective procurement and logistics processes that meet all legal, technical and commercial factors within a stringent regulatory framework.
• Review and develop Procurement and Logistics processes and procedures, ensuring any proposed changes are properly reviewed by relevant stakeholders, appropriately communicated to the business, and implemented effectively.
• Directly responsible for the overall identification of Procurement and Logistics resources for business requirements.
• Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to personnel and directly responsible for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines within a function.
• Ensures compliance with Zero Harm/Courage to Care program in addition to KBR, OSHA, NSF, and DOD policies.
• Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and inter-personal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on OCONUS projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with Firm Fixed Price labor/Cost Reimbursable Materials contracts.
• Experience with international logistics planning and execution, import and export compliance and requirements.
• US citizen and possess a US Passport
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in facility management, work prioritization, and supervision of a mixed labor force.
• Familiarization and working experience in austere environments.
• Knowledge of US government regulations and procedures.
• Strong client communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment with a focus on the customer.
• Familiar with Global Procurement Asset Management.

• Ability to Medically Prequalify and obtain an Extended Background Investigation clearance.
