About the role

The Quality Control Inspector works with minimal supervision to support the quality department with incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections; including product validation testing. The hours for this shift will be Monday -Friday from 7 AM - 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the inspection of product returns.
  • Perform and document testing according to test protocols.
  • Generate NCR for non-conforming materials and assemblies.
  • Perform and document incoming inspections according to drawing specifications.
  • Perform label and IFU inspections as required according to inspection procedures.
  • Review manufacturing related paperwork in Device History Record for accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize Visual Inspection Systems and other inspection tools (tensile strength machines/calipers/pin gages/etc.) per inspection requirements.
  • Coordinate with production personnel to perform in-process and finished product inspections in a cleanroom environment and within production schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Minimum 1+ year QA/QC experience in finished goods (packaging) and receiving inspection.
  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to adhere to compliance with internal procedures.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and high level of integrity.
  • Basic computer skills and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.

Preferred

  • 2+ years QA/QC medical device experience
  • Experience with catheters
  • Experience in cleanroom environment
  • Experience with Initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and performing containment

Inari Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00 per hour. A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
