Retail Store Clerk (Seasonal/Temp Position)

Job Status:  Hourly $13.68 - $18.54 (temp to hire and seasonal positions)

Reports To:  Cheese Store Supervisor                                                           

Work Schedule:  Part- Time (Flexible Schedule from 9am-5pm), Weekend rotation
 

POSITION:   
 The retail store clerk position is responsible for preparing gift boxes for shipment, stocks shelves, serves and merchandises cheese, wine, and food products. The retail store clerk must possess outstanding customer services skills and the ability to answer customer's requests regarding our product and providing a positive experience, maintaining our mission in providing high quality products, services, and positive experiences.  

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working in a retail store preferred.
• Previous customer service experience; experience working with customers.
• Experience with a point of sale system or cashiering.
• Must be able to multitask and work independently, while being a productive member of a team environment.
• Must be able to work weekends, special store events and holiday rushes as required.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift; able to lift, bend, twist and reach with hands and arms. 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, or walk for prolonged periods. 
• The employee is required to operate a computer and keyboard
•  Able to read, write, understand and speak in the English Language.
• Manual dexterity to operate a telephone
• Lift horizontally and vertically
• Bend and stoop
