National Project Development Manager - MIV

About the role

Endress+Hauser’s MIV (main instrumentation vendor) program was created with the vision of bringing Endress+Hauser’s unique expertise around instrumentation and project lifecycles to create value and provide a world-class experience for our clients. The MIV program accomplishes through reducing the number of client touch points, promoting project consistency, increasing visibility on project progress, and quickly pivoting to meet our client’s need during project execution. We aim not just to execute but drive the client’s project schedule and reduce nonconformances that could delay startup of their projects. The areas in which we provide these value-added services include: 

  • Engineering 
  • Procurement and contract management 
  • Documentation 
  • Warehousing and inspections 
  • Site startup support 

Role + Responsibilities  

  • Establishes productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders and project teams with our channel partners and assigned customer accounts; including engineering, procurement, and service departments.  
  • Meets assigned targets for sales and identified capital projects, drive the qualification effort to establish a best fit project pursuit pipeline. 
  • Develop, lead, and manage projects through SFDC using Standard 201 process. 
  • Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, pipeline development, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period. 
  • Leads project and solutions and service development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary Endress+Hauser team members. 
  • Indirect management of project engineers though out the bidding process to ensure complete package is submitted to the customer on both technical and commercial queries.  
  • Uses understanding of customer needs to initiate solutions opportunities and handoff to the appropriate team to expand the customer experience. 

Qualification + Profile  

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering. MBA desired. 
  • Strong leadership, management, and collaborative abilities 
  • Ability to effectively present information in any setting 
  • Clear understanding of capital projects business, EPCs, and process licensor type customers  
  • Strategic thinking ability 
  • Capable of leading teams in a multi-national and matrix environment   
  • Language fluent in English; Spanish also desirable  
  • Ability to travel 30-50%
