Latin America Marketing Intern

Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Global Grain and Processing group in Inver Grove Heights, MN. We are looking for a Latin America Marketing Intern to help support a variety of projects that will range in scale and complexity. This role will provide direct support for the export of agricultural commodities into Latin America. You must be detail oriented, thorough, demonstrate accountability, and understand customer relationships within a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills by learning from and collaborating with a talented team. This internship is for Summer 2024.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the process improvement of a more comprehensive Demand Planning Platform for the region. 
• Built an interactive map of ports in the region, identifying storage capacity at destination and imports by customer and commodity.
• Support on marketing tasks, such as, contract creation, pricing, export amendments, and template updates.
• Create a digital tool oriented to elevate efficiencies in vessel execution and ensure data accuracy. 

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Currently enrolled in Agriculture, International Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar degree program at an accredited institution entering junior or senior year, or recent graduate.

Additional Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PBI.
• Ability to work well in a team environment; develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload.
• Capacity to think and solve problems independently within a changing environment while being customer focused and building solid relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Spanish, both written and verbal

Physical Requirements

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
