CIB Business Execution Senior Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Manager to support key risk and regulatory initiatives within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB).  This role will collaborate with Enterprise and CIB Compliance partners, policy owners and subject matter experts to ensure the organization stays compliant with relevant laws and regulations by monitoring, analyzing, and coordinating the implementation of necessary changes.  Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying, assessing, and implementing changes to an organization's policies and procedures in response to new or updated regulations 
• Ensuring the team stays informed about new or updated regulations from various sources, including government agencies and industry bodies
• Evaluating how new regulations affect the organization's operations, processes, and systems
• Assessing and mitigating risks associated with regulatory changes
• Keeping stakeholders informed about regulatory changes and ensuring employees are trained on new requirements

In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
• Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives
• Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
• Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
• Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
• Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
• Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

 

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years Management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience managing large teams preferably within financial service
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements within Corporate and Investment Banking and knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze complex regulations, assess impacts and mitigate risks
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely implementation of changes
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Professional presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and senior leaders
• Experience developing partnerships and effectively collaborating with other business and functional areas in a highly matrixed environment
• Strong attention to detail with ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation and reporting 
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Charlotte, NC:  $139,000 – $217,000

New York, NY:  $167,000 - $260,000
