The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about technical design, illustration, and configuration management? CACI is seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our team supporting the Operating, Materials, and Supply Division at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. You'll be essential in receiving, inventory, issuance, packaging, shipping, tracking and tracing of parcels containing small parts and equipment essential for supporting U.S. Navy Minor Caliber Guns/Weapons. If you enjoy creating detailed documentation, handling various sizes and shapes of packages, this role offers a unique opportunity to support important defense programs while advancing your career in warehousing and logistics management. The employee will maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse as well as be comfortable communicating with all leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Organizing and storing materials safely and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Familiarization with military facilities, warehouse operation, and quality procedures
- Understanding of general safety requirements.
- Ablity to recognize Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) shipments.
- Collaborate with logisticians, engineers, and project teams to understand requirements and deliver accurate inventory information.
- Loading and unloading of trucks and using scanners to locate and track products.
- Knowledge of basic material handling equipment and operation.
Qualifications:
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum one year experience performing similar duties outlined herein.
- Ability to successfully execute the duties and responsibilities outlined in the previous section. •
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy for inventory management and order fulfillment. •
- Computer literacy for inventory tracking and order processing. •
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. •
- Effective communication skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to conduct moderately strenuous physical activity including climbing ladders, crouching, bending and lifting of approximately 50 lb
Desired:
- One or more years experience in packaging, shipping, warehousing, inventory control or a related field.
- Familiarity with military standards and specifications.
- Knowledge of U.S. Navy and OSHA requirements, standards, and processes in a warehouse environment.
- Additional experience performing duties outlined herein such as FedEx or UPS Training/certification on forklift operation.

Pay Range:
