Reporting to the CISO, the Director of Information Security, Architecture and Resiliency will be the primary owner for multiple programs to ensure the protection and resiliency of 8x8’s networks, systems, applications, data and products. They will define and document the scope, schedule, budget, and prioritization of individual projects to support security initiatives and ongoing programs. They will manage communication about such programs across the company. Will design, document, and support 8x8’s information security architecture and resiliency programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Create well-defined Security Architecture standards & best practices for 8x8’s multi-cloud infrastructure, product development, and information security teamsCreate and disseminate a prioritized list of security plans and initiatives that map to achieving 8x8’s target security postureCross-functional influencer with key stakeholders and technical staffDevelop and publish Program Plans for each of their security programsRecruit support from stakeholders throughout the company to ensure success of each security initiative, program, and projectCore member of several teams e.g., Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and representing security in other departments ongoing projects. Report summarized progress reports to the CISO and team
REQUIREMENTS:B.S. in Computer Science CISSP or Equivalent8 Years Security Experience4 Years Management ExperienceExperience in Project Management and Program Management Risk Assessment Experience Ability to Consider Risk from Outside, “Think Like a Hacker”
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge & Experience with Information Security Std. e.g. NIST, OWASP, ISO 27001Experience in Producing and Delivering Project UpdatesProject Management Certification, PMP or Equivalent
