Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be responsible for processing payables for assigned vendors through the three-way match process to ensure timely payment to vendors, processing/research of related debits, timely/thorough vendor statement reconciliation and facilitating processing of payables through systematic processes. - Facilitate the processing of invoices through receipt of invoices as well as systematic processes (including EDI) for assigned vendor accounts
- Manage Accounts Payable Debits (AP DRs, Vendor Receivables) for assigned vendor accounts
- Timely and accurate vendor statement reconciliations for assigned vendors.
- Associates degree or comparable education background preferred
- 3+ years required experience in a high-volume environment processing Accounts Payable transactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where flexibility, resiliency and adaptability are essential.
- Effectively presents information and answers to queries from management, vendors and to cross-functional teams.
- Organized individual with strong attention to detail balanced by the ability to focus on the big picture.
- Leads by example by taking accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills, focus on meeting strict deadlines.
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred
- Large ERP experience preferred (Microsoft D365 is a plus)
- Understand and carry out oral instructions
- Read and carry out simple written instructions
- Read and carry out complicated instructions
- Work as a member of a team
- Work with minimum amount of supervision
- Work under pressure
- Work on several tasks at the same time
