As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises efficiently and uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service. You will interact with employees, visitors, and members of the public, providing clear communication and support as needed. Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 05:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any irregularities according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Support access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
