Location: Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View – Suffolk, VA

CareerNation is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) to support the surgical team at Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, organized, and available for surgical procedures, helping maintain a safe and efficient operating environment for adult patients.

Assignment Details:

• Dates: 1/12/26 – 2/6/26 (4 weeks)

• Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM (8 hours)

• Schedule: Weekdays

• Shifts per week: 3

• Schedule assurance: 12 hours per week

Position Information:

• Position: Certified Sterile Processing Technician

• Patient population: Adults

• Scrubs: Not provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment

• Maintain proper inventory and organize sterile supplies

• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and facility policies

• Support the surgical team with instrument setup and turnover between cases

Requirements:

• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Background Check

• Tuberculosis Screening

• Valid Driver’s License
