If you’re a technical leader who is energized by complex challenges and contributing to a team to achieve exceptional results, this is your opportunity!

As a Lead Network Engineer on the Global Infrastructure and Networking team, you will work in a high-performance team environment and be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network and security technologies to solve large, strategic problems, transforming these complex problems into simple solutions. You will evaluate and define network security policies and controls; manage network infrastructure; perform security risk assessments; respond to security events; make data-driven optimizations; and resolve complex operational issues in production through improvements to designs, software, and processes.

This role requires extensive experience in engineering and operation of large-scale enterprise networks, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, Cloud, and Datacenter, as well as experience in developing and operating security systems and applications to defend the network infrastructure against cyber threats—protecting data, applications, devices, and systems connected to the network.

Minimum qualifications:

  • A collaborative leader who thrives in a high-performance and dynamic team environment and is motivated by collective success.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in network engineering with a proven track record of leading complex projects and mentoring team members.

  • 8 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting networks and security systems in organizations with wide area networks.

  • Industry certification, such as CCNP or equivalent training and development.

  • In-depth experience with TCP/IP network fundamentals, routing and switching technologies and protocols (BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, SDWAN, BFD), and network platforms (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki).

  • Experience in enterprise network security and data protection technologies, including identity/access management, encryption, key management, and data loss prevention.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure), Cisco ISE, Umbrella, SIEM, ThousandEyes, and WAF.

  • Experience in major incident management and security incident response.

  • Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration, secure software development, application security and pen testing.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to adapt priorities in a dynamic business landscape, managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrable ability to mentor others in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support secure solutions for a hybrid cloud network infrastructure, defining and developing automations to enable large-scale deployments and operation
