About the Job:

Join Yum! Brands as the Associate Manager, Benefits Design and develop global benefits strategies and programs, with a project-based focus on global leaves, time-off, and retirement. This role includes benchmarking, design, and harmonization within countries, working closely with consultants and vendors, and collaborating with internal partners including Global Design, Delivery, TRBPs, HRIS, PCBPs, Legal, Communications, and Finance teams.

Salary Range: 

$107,800 - $126,700 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead project-based benefits design initiatives (50%) with a primary focus on leaves, time-off, and retirement, while remaining flexible to lead other benefit projects as needed.
    • Ensure designs align with current business, talent, and global total reward strategies.
    • Develop change management and rollout strategies in partnership with TRBPs, Communications, and key stakeholders.
    • Manage projects such as global program inventories, benefit harmonization, BMU competitive reviews, new market entries, acquisitions, and major legislative changes.
    • Leverage support from the experienced analyst pool as needed.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (15%) across Design, Delivery, TRBPs, and PCBPs to:
    • Anticipate trends and assess emerging concerns.
    • Co-create tools, resources, templates, practices, and methodologies that build organizational know-how.
  • Manage vendor and consulting relationships (15%) for global leaves, time-off, and retirement programs, including:
    • Contracts, RFPs, and performance oversight.
    • Partnering with consultants to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Shape the global benefits strategy and guiding principles (15%) in partnership with the Director by:
    • Leading benefit governance design strategy.
    • Contributing to the overall benefit philosophy, strategies, guiding principles, playbooks, and processes aligned with business needs and market best practices.
  • Conduct ad-hoc projects and analysis (5%), such as:
    • Trend analysis.
    • Benchmarking to inform benefits strategy and decision-making.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Benefits or HR leadership roles.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring and guiding less experienced analysts or team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with proven expertise in complex benefits design. Has a strong understanding of trends, compliance, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, project-based work in a leadership capacity.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with, influence, & align key stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders to drive business objectives.
  • Experience managing consulting relationships and vendors.
