Reporting to the Director of Operations for the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program, the Assistant Director will assist the Director in managing the program’s delivery at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. In this role, the Assistant Director will have responsibilities such as project management, data analysis, production management of class sessions in our blended classrooms, schedule coordination and program delivery both onsite at Georgetown and offsite (this includes opportunities for international travel).
Duties include, but not limited to:
Assist with managing day-to-day and mass program email communications with students, engaging the students by responding to inquiries in a timely manner within 24 hours as much as possible and no longer than 48 hours.
Provide registration advising to a caseload of students and technical advice, problem-solving assistance, answering to questions regarding program goals, and policy interpretation.
Perform excellent customer relations and communications on behalf of program in day-to-day interactions with faculty, other staff, students, clients, and vendors.
Monitor and report on quality of courses and student interactions, suggesting and implementing quality improvements as agreed to by program leadership and faculty.

Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
One or more years of business experience; Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects is also a plus
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, and networking skills with a team-oriented attitude
Creativity in providing value-add solutions within the parameters of the budget with the critical ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute
Critical eye for detail with ability to build relationships with colleagues and key MSB stakeholders
Confidence to take initiative, ask questions and make recommendations with the end goal being process improvement and student satisfaction
Genuine desire to understand and engage with international cultures
Ability and willingness to regularly work week day afternoons and evenings (and occasional weekends), and travel domestically and internationally as needed
Programming skills (e.g., HTML, Python are a plus, but are not required
Expertise with Canvas (LMS) and project management skills a plus
