Associate Operator, Production Tech I (Utility Kitter)

The Utility Kitter is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within, or between storage and Production areas according to the site’s production schedule.  This position transfers physically, as well as in SAP, all raw materials and pre-weighs needed for production in a timely manner.

Your key responsibilities

• Scans and transfers items as needed.

• Returns used stock to correct locations.

• Stock, restock and organizes various raw materials in assigned warehouse locations, including ensuring adequate supplies of commonly used materials are stocked and available for pre-weigh areas (Small, Medium and Large) and ensuring adequate supplies of commonly used materials are stocked and available in HOTBOX locations.

• Re-pack raw materials for finished good shipments as needed.

• Sampling material for the recycle/extension reports, or as needed.

• Certified as an operator with various industrial power lifts, which includes operating a forklift as needed and operating motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.

You bring

• High School Diploma or GED with at least two years of related work experience preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.  Basic math comprehension (addition and subtraction)

• Working knowledge of Inventory and Warehouse SAP transactions, material handling handheld scanners and calculators.
