Mon - Fri 8:30 – 5:30, alt. Thurs/Fri 10:30-7:30, alt Sat 8:30 – 3:30 (40 hours) varies by branch

What You’ll Do

Summary/Objective:

Support and contribute to DCU's Success Sharing by creating a sales and service culture within the branch network by effectively leading the staff and helping our members achieve their financial goals. Provide float and management coverage and build strong partnerships with branch management to help support and identify staffing and service levels within the branch network.  Effectively monitor and manage branch operations, sales and service levels in the absence of branch management. Assist members with teller transactions, account and loan opening.  Build strong partnerships in supporting financial wellness and education when providing float coverage throughout the branch network.

  • Build solid partnerships with branch management to help understand and support staffing deficiencies.
  • Support the Branch Management team when coverage is needed for all branch functions. Float coverage to be provided in the capacity of teller, MSR or Manager as needed.    

In addition, may be asked to provide coverage for various aspects of business development, Community Events, Mobile Branch or job fairs.  

  • Support DCU's Success Sharing by establishing and achieving assigned float sales goals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, and coach the float staff to achieve their goals. 
  • Oversee branch operations in the absence of management by assuring branch compliance with policies and procedures and security procedures, promptly resolve Information Systems and Facility maintenance issues.
  • Respond to all member complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Perform MSR and teller duties as needed, which include having knowledge of all DCU products and services. Conduct teller transactions, open new memberships and new accounts, conduct Notary Public services and Signature Guarantees.
  • Utilize established guidelines to obtain Lending Authority, process loan requests, confirm all conditions have been met and verify the integrity of the documents prior to conducting loan closings. Obtain Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) authority through the nationwide licensing system and originate mortgages.
  • Demonstrate and coach branch staff to promote self-service with members.
  • Recognize work processes that can be streamlined to reduce cost or save time and encourage staff to offer their suggestions. Continuously identify efficiencies and process improvement areas.
  • Promote lobby leading to ensure a positive member experience.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Two to Three years supervisory and sales management experience
  • High School Diploma
  • College Degree preferred
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Strong Technical Knowledge (Word, Excel, Email)
  • Proven Leadership Abilities
  • Knowledge of branch operations a plus
  • Prior lending experience a plus
  • Ability to obtain NMLS Certification

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Bilingual skills a plus
