We are looking for a Hardware Design Intern (Summer 2025) who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment at our Austin, TX location
As a Hardware Design Intern, you will be involved in designing ARM and FPGA-based embedded products for the process automation industry. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hardware design and contribute to impactful projects.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Assist in the design and development of ARM and FPGA-based embedded hardware solutions
- Participate in schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit design
- Support the prototyping, testing, and validation of hardware designs
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues to ensure optimal performance
- Document design processes, test procedures, and results
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

For This Role, You Will Need:- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- Knowledge of fundamental electronic components and their characteristics
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
- Entering either Junior or Senior year
- Completed courses in: Digital Logic Design, Circuit Theory, Electro-magnetic Theory, Embedded Systems
- Exposure to:
- Hardware Description Languages such as VHDL or Verilog
- Signal integrity and EMI/EMC considerations
- Embedded systems and microcontroller design
- Simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, ModelSim)
- Previous internship experience in a professional environment
- Strategic mindset and self-motivated
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Innovative approach to solve problems
