The eVinci Operations Engineering Intern is responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts (SME) in Operations & Training,

Components & Equipment, Mechanical Systems, Materials Engineering, Testing & Materials, Licensing, NTR Engineering, Technical

Integration and Configuration, eVinci Systems, Modeling & Simulation, Global Operations Services (GOS) – Global Engineering

Services (GES), Global Instrumentation & Controls (GIC), Digital & Innovation (D&I), and Data Science teams, and external

stakeholders to support eVinci™ microreactor operations design development and implementation, including plans, procedures,

program development, and training program content across Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Simulator Solutions, and Operations

Program functional areas.

 

This intern role will support business unit (BU) university relations (research) and artificial intelligence, large language modeling, and

machine learning (AI/LLM/ML) initiatives.

 

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

 

Collaborate directly with internal, cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team of experts responsible for development, design, and

implementation of the eVinci™ microreactor operations program, including HFE, Simulator, and all applicable design-based content

for all phases of eVinci™ microreactor operation.

 

Support Operations SMEs and Technical Leads (HFE, Simulator Solutions, and Operations) in the execution of NTR task analyses,

evaluations, demonstrations, tests, plan and procedure development, and process implementation in support of design progression

in accordance with all operational requirements, and to ensure the overall program meets safety, quality, schedule, and fiscal

objectives.

 

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

 

Education Level (Degree, Area of

Study) – Minimum Requirement:

 

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technically related discipline in progress.

Preferred disciplines are Computer, Mechanical, Nuclear (Operations), Instrumentation &

Controls (I&C), and Electrical.

 

Years of Experience (if applicable): N/A

 

Any prior experience in nuclear construction, startup, and/or operations, preferably in

maintenance, engineering, project/program management or similar discipline with experience

interfacing with multi-disciplinary functional areas is a plus.

 

Previous business startup experience is a plus.
