As an IT business analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge applications, websites, systems, and products. Working with your team of architects, testers, business analysts, and software developers, and alongside user experience specialists and content strategists, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to users, researchers, audiences, clients, and customers.

You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment
• Experience using and working in Jira
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Ability to facilitate discussions with users and stakeholders to solicit and document software requirements
• Ability to assist and support the development of recommended and required program documentation according to DoD regulations and directives
• Ability to assist with planning, coordinating, and developing comprehensive reports to improve the overall development and execution of organizational programs
• Ability to assist with conducting quantitative or qualitative analysis and evaluation of programs
• Ability to provide management with information about improving initiatives and strategic plans
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience editing and writing documents in a professional setting
• Experience with project management
• Knowledge of Data Visualization and Data Analytics software
• Ability to prepare technical specifications, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
• Ability to brief senior leadership on status updates, project plans, or requirement documentation
• Project Management Professional Certification
