JOB TITLE:          SAP TM Senior Functional Analyst

 

LOCATION:         Richardson, TX (Hybrid role, may work from home)

 

DUTIES:   

• Responsible for successful design, build, test, and implementation of SAP Transportation management system.
• Key team member providing guidance to other business and Functional analysts in software development methods, Manage short-term and mid-term projects.
• Collaborate with other cross functional analysts to ensure End to End solution for Business requirements.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert in the content, processes, and procedures associated with SAP Supply chain Management and Enterprise resource planning applications.
• Interact with Business stake holders for detailed requirements gathering, analyze and perform fit gap analysis to prepare design documents and review with key stakeholders.
• Implement system solutions throughout the software development life cycle, including writing and evaluating functional specifications, coordinating with technical team for development, developing test plans for cross functional, Integration and user acceptance testing.
• Provide testing support for Business users and cutover, Go-Live activities and Provide warranty support to Business Operations.
• Provide training or knowledge transfer for the implemented projects, business processes and procedures.
• Lead continuous improvements for Business process to drive IT effectiveness.
• Participate in IT financial activities.
• Maintain relationship with key supply chain business stakeholders to identify future business needs, follow up on delivered functionality and ensure that services are delivered with customer satisfaction. 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as a Specialist SAP Architect, SAP Business Analyst, Software Engineer Analyst, Consultant, Supply Chain executive, or in a related/similar position.
• Experience therein to include the following:
  • 5 years performing SAP Transportation Management;  
  • 5 years with full cycle SAP implementations, including at least two full cycle implementations;   
  • 5 years performing SAP TM OTR (order-based) and DTR (delivery-based) processes;
  • 5 years with requirement gathering, design, system configuration, functional specification preparation, and functional testing; 
  • 5 years interpreting complex business requirements; and
  • 1 year performing SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) and integration with SAP TM. 
• Hybrid role, ability to work from home. Requires travel (up to 5%)
