We are currently looking for a Full Time Staff Accountant
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- A solid understanding of GAAP
- Two or more years of experience in processing accounts payable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel formulas i.e. Vlookups
- Payroll processing and payroll reconciliation experience
- Experience with Netsuite, SAP or other accounting ERP systems
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to perform various administrative functions under minimal supervision.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy
- Monthly GL reconciliations
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented
- Vendor invoice audits and payment processing
- Prompt vendor communication regarding invoice discrepancies
- Monthly vendor statement reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Handle complex accounting issues and resolve discrepancies.
