You’ll work with them on the newest treatment breakthroughs for some of the most perplexing conditions. And ultimately, you’ll help make a positive difference in patients’ lives.

As a key player in the life sciences sector, we are committed to advancing innovation and driving breakthroughs in research and development. Our dynamic team is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Director, Data and Analytics, to lead our data-driven initiatives and contribute to the success of our organization.

Location: USA

Experience: > 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the data and analytics strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the data and analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess hands-on expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling within the life sciences domain.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of robust data architectures and infrastructure to support analytics initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of data and analytics advancements.

Life Sciences Focus:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the life sciences industry, with a preference for experience in contract research organizations (CROs).
  • Apply knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical trials, and R&D processes to drive data and analytics solutions that address industry challenges.

Business Acumen:

  • Possess a keen understanding of the business landscape, identifying key drivers and challenges within the life sciences sector.
  • Translate business needs into data and analytics strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that drive actionable insights.

Team Management:

  • Build, lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business units, and external partners, to understand business needs and translate them into data and analytics solutions.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, communicating complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within data and analytics.
  • Proven experience in the life sciences industry, with a preference for expertise in contract research organizations.
  • Strong technical proficiency in data analytics tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and database management systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Life Sciences).
  • Experience with Veeva Vault Clinical and Quality is a plus
