PURPOSE:

This role will work within the finance team to lead the provider compensation calculations and communication. This is a hybrid position out of our corporate office in Brentwood, TN. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all providers regarding compensation. Manage calculation and communication of provider’s compensation based off varying contracts and regulatory requirements, including monthly and quarterly calculations for delivery to payroll team and individual providers
  • Calculate and provide payroll with any monthly or quarterly office bonus programs, included but not limited to retail sales incentives and aesthetician commissions
  • Assist with transition to provider compensation software, validating calculations and serving as contact point for provider inquiries
  • Partner with Recruiting, Operations, and HR on compensation modeling for recruiting targets
  • Lead monthly accounting provider on-boarding and status meeting
  • Lead weekly provider compensation requests meeting
  • Meet with incoming providers to introduce compensation statements and calculations
  • Maintain master provider compensation schedule
  • Complete accrual calculations and help prepare journal entries related to provider compensation as part of month-end close
  • Model provider compensation for business development deals
  • Prepare monthly provider deficit reporting and break-even analysis
  • Other responsibilities and ad-hoc analysis/projections as assigned by leadership

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance. 
  • Performs other essential duties as assigned.
  • Maintain professional licensure/certifications as applicable.  
  • Travel to other jobs or office locations as applicable.  

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Skilled in identifying and resolving problems. 
  • Ability to multitask in a busy office with numerous interruptions. 
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively orally and in writing to English. 
  • Proficiency in the operation of a computer keyboard and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Products. 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • 2-3 years of dedicated financial analysis or provider compensation for multi-state/site operations
  • Knowledge of provider employment contracts
  • Proficient in MS products, specifically Excel skills and the ability to analyze large data sets
  • Multi-site, healthcare industry experience (preferred)
  • Private equity experience (preferred)

The position may cause frequent exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
