Job Description

As a Security Professional - Telecom Sector in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener in the Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to assist in preventing potential issues. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves armed duties. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to address potential risks and improve overall security measures.
• Engage with clients and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed, contributing to a positive experience.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License required in the job state.
• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Must have 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
• A college degree is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Valid Driver's License required as per AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
