Summary/Primary Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art drilling technologies and serve as crucial support in the project development process. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on training directly from a Master Driller, handle drill pipe and casing, operate auxiliary equipment, follow all safety and quality regulations, and assess geothermal project sites before the proposal stage. The role also involves reviewing site conditions, identifying necessary equipment and manpower, and contributing to overall project viability and cost analysis. In addition, this role is responsible for organizing, delivering, and maintaining site materials to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment (must have an active CDL A license).
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
- Operate auxiliary equipment between projects.
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and material.
- Perform maintenance tasks at specified intervals.
- Mix drilling mud and grout.
- Handle drill pipe and casing.
- Follow all safety and quality regulations and instructions.
- Perform inventory (stock intake) as required.
- Haul, lift (60-80 lbs.), move, load, and dig materials and equipment.
- Work outdoors in all elements.
- Work closely with the team to identify equipment and manpower needs for each project.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive work orders, confirming necessary materials, and ensuring accurate project documentation.
- Provide recommendations to the team on project feasibility based on findings.
- Document all aspects of communication, data/information, and recommendations for review or future consideration.
- Lead by example in following all company protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:
- HS Diploma and/or GED or higher.
- Must have an active Class A - Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Clean Driving Record for at least five (5) years.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Ability to safely lift weights of 50+ pounds overhead.
- Must have an OSHA 30; SST card and Flagger certification strongly preferred.
- Must be able to obtain coverage under company automobile insurance policy (clean driving record, certain age restrictions may apply).
- Eager to build a career in drilling and renewable energy.
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and engage in constant physical labor.
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Rigging experience, mechanical skills, and welding skills are preferred but not required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work:
An employee must work a minimum of forty (40) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefit purposes; however, the expectations of this position will require an average of fifty (50) hours per week. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Brightcore also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to complement the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000.
