Department Summary

The UNT Police Department is looking for a Crime Analyst / Investigator to join our Criminal Investigative Services team.

Working with the UNT Police Department will be an experience you won’t get elsewhere. Position Overview

The Part Time Background investigator is assigned to the Criminal Investigative Services and is responsible for:

Conducting Police Department Background Investigations for Police Department employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Prior law enforcement experience in a criminal investigation's unit.

Prior TCOLE Certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Prior Investigative experience
Prior Background investigative experience

Prior Criminal Investigative Experience

Job Duties

• Conduct Police Department pre-employment background investigations as required by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
