Overview
Precision Auto Care, Inc. (PACI) franchises Precision Tune Auto Care centers through Precision Franchising LLC (PFL). Currently, there are 225 independently owned and operated auto service centers providing routine automotive maintenance and repair throughout the continental U.S. Franchising domestically since 1977 and internationally since 1990. In addition to franchising, PACI operates Precision Tune Auto Care centers in the U.S. through PTAC Operating Centers (PTACOC). Currently, there are 19 centers operated by PTACOC.
As automotive technology changed, Precision Tune expanded its service menu to include automotive oil changes, fuel injection, auto air conditioning, cooling systems, brake service and repair and other diagnostic services. Precision Tune Auto Care today offers a one-stop-shop specializing in diagnostics, factory scheduled maintenance and car repair services. Our service centers provide total car care, from oil changes to engine replacement, diagnostics, auto repair and scheduled maintenance. Position Summary
This position supports franchisee operations directly in terms of consultancy, include assisting with the internal development and retooling of franchise support, then roll out training, enforce brand standard, assist with marketing campaigns and "best practices" to our franchise community. This position entails a 1-1 business growth and operational support for single and multi-unit franchisees in their respective development areas. The candidate for this role needs to have a strong background in franchising or franchise operations/support including assisting with new center development. The ideal candidate for this role is familiar with updating standards, operations and other manuals to ensure processes are properly documented. Extensive travel and/or overnight travel is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn and develop "best practices" approach in executing operational improvements, training, merchandising, marketing, prospecting and overall franchise management to improve revenue
- Assists in planning and conducting regional meetings and activities to provide information through training and networking with vendors and other franchisees
- Coach Franchisees in effective Profit and Loss management for products and service by utilizing financial benchmarks and understanding markup vs margin concepts
- Assist in developing a structure for training to ensure franchisees understanding of policies, procedures, roles, and responsibilities
- Assists in new center buildouts, center remodels, transfers and renewal upgrades
- Acts as a liaison between Precision Tune Auto Care, vendors, and the Franchisee by serving as the primary point of contact to provide answers for concerns and questions
- Ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales by implementing all marketing programs, ensure all employees are trained and follow all company procedures.
- Implement and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Safeguard brand standards though internal controls, systems and personal involvement in daily operations. Conduct store tours, review store operations and perform safety reviews while auditing internal controls for cash, accounts receivable and inventory in collaboration with the franchisee.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma required.
- Associate's Degree required in business administration, marketing, operations management or similar.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in business administration, marketing, operations management or similar.
- 5-10 years in franchising preferred
