What we are looking for:

We are growing our Development Team and looking for naturally curious and passionate Full Stack Developers within React & Ruby on Rails to join our journey of revolutionizing time-critical logistics worldwide.

Together with our diverse R&D team, you will be building features that will save time, money, and in some cases lives. With our team, you will have a lot of freedom to find the right solutions and processes and have a direct impact on the daily lives of our users and customers. Your Role & Responsibilities: 

• You will work closely with our product team to find and develop smart technical solutions that make our logistic processes more efficient
• You will take an interest in “the whole picture” to understand how time-critical logistics works in different industries to build the right features in the best way
• You will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code and architectures
• Maintaining code quality through test automation and peer code reviews
• Collaborate with a team of smart and friendly engineers to develop solutions unique to logistics
• Continuously growing your software craftsmanship as well as soft skills in a fast paced environment
• You will be working on exciting and complex problems within the time-critical logistics domain
• You will be working with Ruby on Rails application with a React (MobX) UI used by international customers and the internal operations teams
• Working with API Integrations with different providers from airlines to courier partners;
• Responsible for existing or new microservices (Go and Ruby) to assure that our architecture is scalable enough to handle our growth
• Continuously working on smaller features and bug fixes as well as bigger projects including architectural changes
• Writing tests and improvements to our code delivery pipelines

Ideal Background and Skills:

• 3+ years of professional backend and frontend development experience using modern web frameworks, preferably React and Ruby on Rails
• Knowledge in building, maintaining, and using Rest APIs and microservices
• Strong knowledge in executing clean, high quality, well tested code
• Fluent in English (Dutch and other languages are a plus)
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• A passionate, friendly, and humble team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with people from different geographies and backgrounds
• A strong self-motivated and pro-active mindset with a keen eye for details and problem solving
