As the Go To Market (GTM) Business Development Manager, you will operate both strategically and tactically. You will help develop and execute GTM strategy for new incubation services, ensuring cross-functional coordination and alignment, and launch key initiatives. As a key team member in this fast-growing, exciting space, you will have the opportunity to help lead early market development efforts, including driving awareness, adoption, and growth of lighthouse customers and partnerships. As the business formulates, you will lead sales enablement efforts to prepare the field for solution selling, creating new scaling processes and mechanisms. This will involve creating a strong partnership with service, sales, marketing, and Professional Services (ProServe) teams to develop a pipeline focused on revenue, adoption, and market penetration.
Key job responsibilities
Own strategic initiatives that contribute to our global go to market plan. Measure and report on how owned initiatives impact the business.
Create a strong partnership with sales, ensuring they are well-equipped with the content, training, knowledge of available resources, and core curriculum necessary to effectively sell Amazon Connect
Develop new sales tools and communication mechanisms to scale field awareness, with the goal of driving pipeline creation and service adoption
Partner with product managers and sales to identify, replicate, and scale successful sales motions for new services
Deliver lighthouse customers, meet adoption and revenue goals, and provide customer feedback to influence roadmap decisions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
