Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • ArcGIS Mapping and data collection.

  • Field services including groundwater and storm water sampling, and landfill monitoring.

  • Drilling oversight, soil sampling, and boring log preparation.

  • Interaction with laboratories for sample pickup.

  • Preparation and management of field supplies and equipment.

  • Field and technical oversight, including quality control and quality assurance for project activities, and standard operating procedures and reports.

  • Technical report writing and deliverables to Project Managers.

  • Some interaction with regulatory and government agencies.

You’ll thrive here if you

  • ArcGIS experience.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related science major.

  • 2-5+ years of environmental experience; prior professional environmental field experience preferred.

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass MVR.

  • Flexible schedule, typical Monday-Friday, with work hours generally ranging from 7-8am to 5-6pm depending on project needs.

  • Ability to tracel primarily within western/central MA and CT, with occasional day travel to RI, ME, NH, and eastern NY.

  • Physical ability to perform site activities, including strength, stamina, dexterity, bending, and stooping.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, communicate effectively with the public, and use iPhone and/or iPad.
